Inspired by a deep connection with the laid back beach culture intertwined with a contrasting sense of fashion, Champagne Coast centers around maintaining a lenient take on California’s coast. Blood Orange’s hit song “Champagne Coast” was played on repeat throughout the making of this shoot as we explored the oceanside of Orange County; breaking away from the urban streets. This shoot is a tribute to the beauty of the Laguna Beach coastlines and its natural colors that compliment the lighter tones of the attire chosen. As the counterpart to our darker urban shoot, this series reveals the softer, natural side of the county, balancing grace with grit.
